game on!

My boys started football games this weekend and, of course, I had my camera up to my eye throughout most of the game. I love capturing various action shots, when they take off their helmets, moments with the coaches, touchdown victories, huddles, game talk with teammates and post-game chat. It's all a part of the sport and memories to be kept and shared.

As I was loading these pictures onto my computer today a thought came over me. What if I went to games and took pictures of your player/cheerleader? I think this is my next adventure in photography. There are so many things we can do with these pictures and would love to be a part of a game in your child's life, capturing moments mentioned above and any other that you can think of. These could be processed the same way as a session: I edit the original version to enhance and fix flaws, create them in black and white, add some special effects and give them to you on a CD for you to print. Your cost :$35 (more than one child on the same team - $10 each added to cost). I think it sounds fun!

And then there are the individual pictures ...if you don't want to pay those high prices for individual pictures, let's go to the field and I'll take care of you. I can email you a sports photo price sheet if you are interested. I am a lot less expensive than what you will pay the day you show up for those pictures, I promise.

My prices and contact information are all located on the right hand side of this blog. Hope to hear from you!

Kace: in black & white

Here is sweet Kace. He is turning six months old and is almost sitting up all on his own. He was full of smiles and was very interested in the grass and the passing cars and all of the funny sounds his dad makes.

the latest

I have had four shoots this week and it is always so much fun to meet new people, capture all the different personalities and get creative. Three out of the four were taken in the same area but all three of these took on different spins - people are different and so are pictures. Here's the latest.

Monday morning: Mom & Son

Tuesday: Mesquite senior

Wednesday: Mother & Daughter (working on a scrapbook project for a birthday gift, hence the variety)

And there you have it. Variety.

It's about that time to go back to school. But, I am here if you need me!

five*year*old

Featured here is a little boy that I have known since the day he was born, a little over five years ago. I always enjoy taking pictures of kids that I know. C was great and full of smiles and funny faces. Here is C, his personality shines through!

Such fun!

crunch time!

I cannot believe that school, (for me as a teacher), is starting in just 2 weeks. I'm sad to leave all of my flexibility and early morning photo shoots behind but I look forward to some fun evenings photographing your babies, your children, your teenagers, your love and your families for special events and the upcoming holiday season.

I have some great things planned for the fall months as you start to think about Christmas cards and Christmas presents. I am also planning for some Halloween/ Fall special shoots. There's fun times in the thought processes and I can't wait to get it all on paper and on the calendar so that I can share with you!

Prices will be going up a tad bit on September 1st for anything booked after that day. You can schedule a future shoot now and reserve the prices that you see on the right.

Upcoming event: August 15th - back to school vintage photo shoots at Gotta Scrap! CDs and prints will be available for purchase.

It's been real and it's been fun - it's been real fun! Let's shoot!
