Red, White & You

Today was a steamin' hot success at Gotta Scrap. Literally. I was a little flustered to be on 635 at 9:15 a.m. with my exterior thermostat reading 94 degrees. Seriously?! I try to beat the heat with "early" morning photos but now that summer has made its big debut here in Texas - there is no good time for a comfortable photo shoot. We've just got to have a plan, put some smiles on and snap away. I tried this out today and the results speak for themselves. It worked!

The theme today at "project runway" was Red, White & You. Some moms were gearing up for Independence Day scrapbook layouts, some were ready to have some cute pictures framed around the house for the upcoming holiday and one grandmother wanted photos as a send off to the girls' daddy leaving for Iraq soon.

Despite the heat, we toughed it out and got some great patriotic pictures.

Stay tuned for upcoming "project runways" in July and kids camp, where your kids make crafts while you have an hour to shop, or sleep, or clean house, or whatever you need to do.

I would love to hear from you for a photo shoot. Don't let the heat scare you off - sessions are short, sweet and leave you with special memories. Let's frame it!

  1. We have had RAVE REVIEWS over your Project Runway shoots! The kids have so much fun...this is rare for kids to like having their photos taken, but you make it fun!
